Colorado High School Basketball - Berthoud triumphant over Wellington

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) and the visiting Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO), observed Berthoud's basketball team overwhelm Wellington by a score of 90-50.

The Spartans (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Northridge (Greeley, CO). The Grizzlies come into the 5A/4A Longs Peak challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Northridge was routed by Severance (Severance, CO), 67-21, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak challenge, on Friday, January 24. Wellington will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 55-32 league win over Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO).
