Washington High School Basketball - Ferndale thwarts Sehome
January 21, 2025: Ferndale, WA 98248 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) and the visiting Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA), observed Ferndale's basketball team knock off Sehome by a score of 55-42.
The Golden Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Burlington-Edison prevailed over Lakewood (Arlington, WA), 95-89, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mariners encounter the Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Sehome will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 74-66 league loss to Bellingham (Bellingham, WA).
