January 21, 2025: Mt. Vernon, AR 72111 In Tuesday's league test, the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR) basketball squad trounced the visiting St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR), by a score of 69-43.
Next, the Warhawks encounter the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds (Guy, AR) in a 1A Region 5 test, on Thursday, January 23. Mt. Vernon-Enola will attempt to improve on its 19-5 season record.
The Bulldogs (7-8) will now prepare for their test against South Side (Bee Branch, AR). The Hornet come into the 2A Region 5 test with a 3-12 record.
