The New Braunfels Unicorns nipped the visiting Veterans Memorial Patriots basketball squad by a final score of 57-51 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Unicorns face the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 outing, on Friday, January 24. New Braunfels will attempt to upgrade on its 19-11 season record. The Rangers enter the outing with a 10-11 record after their 62-54 league loss to Pieper (San Antonio, TX).
