Nebraska High School Basketball - Millard North holds off Omaha Westside

January 21, 2025: Omaha, NE 68114

The Millard North Mustangs basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Omaha Westside Warriors to 45 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Vashon for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Millard North will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 61-48 non-league loss to Clayton (St. Louis, MO). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Omaha Westside falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to confront the Monarchs in a A District 1 game on Friday, January 24. The Monarchs go into the game with a record of 7-7. Papillion-LaVista lost 69-42 in their recent non-league game against Pius X (Lincoln, NE)
