In Friday's non-league contest, the host Papillion-LaVista Monarchs basketball team scored a good 70-56 win over the Omaha Westside Warriors.

The Monarchs (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE). The SkyHawks come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Skutt Catholic defeated Gretna (Gretna, NE), 70-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Omaha Westside will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
