Washington High School Basketball - Columbia knocked off by Curlew
January 22, 2022: Curlew, WA 99118 The Curlew Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Columbia Lions to 48 in the Cougars league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Selkirk for a 1B Northeast contest on Wednesday, January 26. Curlew will meet a Rangers team coming off a 61-49 league loss to Northport (Northport, WA). The Rangers record now stands at 2-9.
The Lions (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Christian (Spokane, WA). The Panthers enter the 1B Northeast contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Valley Christian ran past Wilbur-Creston-Keller (Creston, WA), 67-33, in a league contest.
