Washington High School Basketball - Columbia can't hold off Northport
February 2, 2022: Hunters, WA 99137 The Northport Mustangs basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Columbia Lions to 46 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Inchelium for a 1B Northeast contest on Friday, February 4. Northport will battle a Hornets team coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Wilbur-Creston-Keller (Creston, WA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-10.
The Lions (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mary Walker (Springdale, WA). The Chargers come into the 1B Northeast contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Mary Walker was nudged by Wellpinit (Wellpinit, WA), 73-41, in a league contest.
