Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA) and the visiting Iowa City Little Hawks (Iowa City, IA), saw Xavier's basketball squad overcome Iowa City by a tally of 61-50.

With the victory, Xavier improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA) to confront the Wahawks in a Mississippi Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Wahawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Waterloo West won 69-65 in their recent league contest against Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA)

The Little Hawks (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA). The Wahawks come into the Mississippi Valley contest with a 12-1 record.
