Connecticut High School Basketball - Berlin nips Bristol Eastern
January 22, 2024: Berlin, CT 06037 Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT), 56-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Berlin upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Redcoats host Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Wethersfield lost 73-64 in their recent non-league bout against Tolland (Tolland, CT)
Next up, the Lancers play the Hartford Public Owls (Hartford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Bristol Eastern will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 74-49 non-league loss to Weaver (Hartford, CT).
