Oregon High School Basketball - South Albany holds off Corvallis
January 22, 2024: Corvallis, OR 97330 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) and the host Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR), saw South Albany's basketball squad hold off Corvallis by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, South Albany improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Woodburn (Woodburn, OR) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Woodburn won 78-53 in their recent league challenge against Lebanon (Lebanon, OR)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Corvallis will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 60-33 league loss to West Albany (Albany, OR).
