Oregon High School Basketball - Silverton can't hold off South Albany
February 9, 2024: Albany, OR 97321 The South Albany Redhawks basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Silverton Foxes to 53 in the Redhawks league victory on Friday.
The Redhawks now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dallas for a 5A Mid-Willamette contest on Tuesday, February 13. South Albany will battle a Dragons team coming off a 73-58 league win over McKay (Salem, OR). The Dragons record now stands at 4-15.
The Foxes (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against West Albany (Albany, OR). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Mid-Willamette contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, West Albany edged Central (Independence, OR), 63-62, in a league contest.
