The Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ), 78-33 in Monday's league test.

The Wolves (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Saints go into the 5A Northeast Valley test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Notre Dame Prep walloped Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ), 93-27, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a 5A Northeast Valley test on Wednesday, January 24. Horizon will encounter a Firebirds squad coming off a 58-47 league loss to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 8-8.
