New Jersey High School Basketball - Salem can't hold off Gloucester Catholic
January 22, 2024: Salem, NJ 08079 The Gloucester Catholic Rams basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Salem Rams to 50 in the Rams league triumph on Monday.
The Rams now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salem County Vo-Tech for a Tri-County - Classic contest on Tuesday, January 23. Gloucester Catholic will battle a team coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Camden County Vo-Tech (Sicklerville, NJ). The record now stands at 1-9.
The Rams (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pitman (Pitman, NJ). The Panthers enter the Tri-County - Classic contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Pitman was nudged by Haddonfield (Haddonfield, NJ), 88-50, in a non-league contest.
