Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) and the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), saw McCool Junction's basketball squad wallop Meridian by a tally of 61-29.

With the victory, McCool Junction improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Dorchester (Dorchester, NE) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Dorchester won 49-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Osceola (Osceola, NE)
