The Central Bears basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Gulf Buccaneers to 45 in the Bears non-league victory on Monday.

The Bears now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crystal River for a contest on Tuesday, January 23. Central will battle a Pirates team coming off a 45-40 non-league win over Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 10-7.
