California High School Basketball - Colfax holds off Oakmont
January 22, 2025: Colfax, CA 95713 The Colfax Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Oakmont Vikings to 47 in the Falcons league triumph on Wednesday.
The Falcons now have a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Bear River for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Colfax will confront a Bruins team coming off a 54-43 league loss to Wheatland (Wheatland, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Oakmont falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Matadors in a game on Thursday, January 23. The Matadors go into the game with a record of 1-12. Mira Loma won 62-51 in their recent league game against Center (Antelope, CA)
