In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Bowie Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 63-32 triumph over the Dripping Springs Tigers.

The Bulldogs (22-8) will now prepare for their contest against Westlake (Austin, TX). The Chaparrals go into the 6A Region IV District 26 contest with a 23-7 record. In their last contest, Westlake smashed Austin (Austin, TX), 76-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 contest, on Friday, January 24. Dripping Springs will attempt to better on its 9-19 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 18-11 record after their 48-35 league win over Del Valle (Del Valle, TX).
