California High School Basketball - Venice overwhelms University
January 23, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90025 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the host University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), saw Venice's basketball squad wallop University by a tally of 55-32.
With the victory, Venice improves its record to 10-14 on the campaign. The Gondoliers host Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA) to confront the Dolphins in a Western challenge on Friday, January 27. The Dolphins come into the challenge with a record of 9-13. Palisades won 52-50 in their recent league challenge against University (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) in a Western challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. University will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record. The Dolphins come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 60-45 league loss to Westchester (Los Angeles, CA).
