The Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) basketball felled the visiting Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), 54-37 in Monday's non-league test.

The Indians (18-5) will now prepare for their test against East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, East Chicago Central thwarted La Porte (La Porte, IN), 52-45, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Merrillville for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Highland will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 57-50 non-league win over Lowell (Lowell, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 5-18.
