South Dakota High School Basketball - Webster crushes Waverly/South Shore
January 23, 2023: Webster, SD 57274 Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD), 53-17 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Webster upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Groton (Groton, SD) to clash with the Tigers in a A Region 1 bout on Friday, January 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Groton won 39-33 in their recent non-league bout against Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD)
Next up, the Coyotes clash with the Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD) in a B Region 1 bout, on Saturday, January 28. Waverly/South Shore will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 57-13 league loss to Warner (Warner, SD).
