South Dakota High School Basketball - Webster fells Wilmot
January 31, 2023: Wilmot, SD 57279 Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD), 49-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Webster upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Redfield (Redfield, SD) to clash with the Pheasants in a A Region 1 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Pheasants go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Redfield lost 56-47 in their recent non-league bout against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD)
Next up, the Wolves clash with the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Wilmot will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 43-30 league loss to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD).
