February 7, 2023: Webster, SD 57274 The Northwestern Area Wildcats basketball team (Mellette, SD), was nudged 39-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD)
The Bearcats now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leola/Frederick for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 11. Webster will battle a Titans team coming off a 50-45 non-league loss to Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Titans record now stands at 14-3.
The Wildcats (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Great Plains Lutheran was nudged by Arlington (Arlington, SD), 47-35, in a non-league battle.
