Virginia High School Basketball - Armstrong tops Maggie Walker
January 23, 2023: Richmond, VA 23220 Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 41-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Armstrong upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Mechanicsville lost 62-31 in their recent non-league bout against Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA)
Next up, the play the Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Maggie Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 65-25 non-league loss to Nottoway (Nottoway, VA).
