January 3, 2023: Richmond, VA 23223 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA), saw Armstrong's basketball squad hold off Patrick Henry by a tally of 37-35.
With the victory, Armstrong improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Henrico (Richmond, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Henrico won 49-30 in their recent non-league challenge against J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Patrick Henry will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 43-36 non-league loss to Essex (Tappahannock, VA).
