Iowa High School Basketball - Ballard crushes Carlisle
January 23, 2024: Carlisle, IA 50047 Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA), 68-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Ballard upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bombers travel to Carroll (Carroll, IA) to play the Tigers in a Raccoon River bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-5.
Next up, the Wildcats play the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Thursday, January 25. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 56-52 league loss to A-D-M (Adel, IA).
