Iowa High School Basketball - Ballard fells Carlisle
December 12, 2023: Huxley, IA 50124 Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA), 50-40 in a league bout.
With the win, Ballard upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bombers host Carroll (Carroll, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a Raccoon River bout on Friday, December 15. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Carroll won 50-42 in their recent league bout against Winterset (Winterset, IA)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, December 15. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 50-29 league win over Boone (Boone, IA).
