January 23, 2024: Mt. Vernon, AR 72111 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) and the host Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR), saw Cedar Ridge's basketball squad overcome Mt. Vernon-Enola by a tally of 71-61.
With the victory, Cedar Ridge improves its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host White County Central (Judsonia, AR) to confront the Bears in a 2A Region 2 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 11-18. White County Central lost 89-55 in their recent league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, AR)
Next up, the Warhawks confront the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Mt. Vernon-Enola will attempt to improve on its 20-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 57-52 league win over Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR).
