Arkansas High School Basketball - Marshall nudges Mt. Vernon-Enola
January 29, 2024: Mt. Vernon, AR 72111 Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR), 62-56 in a league bout.
With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR) to clash with the Sand Lizards in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Sand Lizards go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Dardanelle won 56-38 in their recent league bout against Clarksville (Clarksville, AR)
Next up, the Warhawks clash with the Mountain Pine Red Devils (Mountain Pine, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Mt. Vernon-Enola will attempt to upgrade on its 21-11 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 2-18 record after their 45-30 league loss to Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR).
