Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Lakes ripped by Cypress Springs
January 23, 2024: Katy, TX 77449 The Cypress Springs Panthers basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Cypress Lakes Spartans to 45 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Langham Creek for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Friday, January 26. Cypress Springs will battle a Lobos team coming off a 48-40 league win over Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 17-11.
The Spartans (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region II District 16 contest with a 10-16 record. In their last contest, Cypress Park was routed by Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX), 70-55, in a league contest.
