Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Falls can't hold off Cypress Springs
January 30, 2024: Houston, TX 77095 The Cypress Springs Panthers basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Cypress Falls Eagles to 42 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 22-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cypress Woods for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Friday, February 2. Cypress Springs will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 44-43 league loss to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-17.
The Eagles (22-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region II District 16 contest with a 10-18 record. In their last contest, Cypress Park was nudged by Langham Creek (Houston, TX), 72-52, in a league contest.
