Texas High School Basketball - DeSoto crushes Skyline
January 23, 2024: Dallas, TX 75227 DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Skyline Raiders (Dallas, TX), 50-27 in a league bout.
With the victory, DeSoto upgrades its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX) to play the Indians in a 6A Region II District 11 bout on Friday, January 26. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 17-8. Waxahachie won 74-59 in their recent league bout against Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX)
Next up, the Raiders play the Mansfield Legacy Broncos (Mansfield, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 bout, on Friday, January 26. Skyline will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 9-16 record after their 65-58 league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, TX).
