Georgia High School Basketball - South Forsyth topped by Forsyth Central
January 23, 2024: Cumming, GA 30040 The Forsyth Central Bulldogs basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting South Forsyth War Eagles to 56 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Forsyth for a AAAAAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, January 26. Forsyth Central will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 87-58 league win over Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-6.
The War Eagles (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Denmark (Alpharetta, GA). The come into the AAAAAAA Region 6 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Denmark was defeated by Milton (Milton, GA), 71-55, in a league contest.
