Strong Bulldogs (Strong, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nevada Blue Jays (Rosston, AR), 60-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Strong upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Emerson (Emerson, AR) to clash with the Pirates in a 1A Region 8 bout on Thursday, January 25. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Emerson won 72-54 in their recent league bout against Bearden (Bearden, AR)
