The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE) and the host Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE), observed South Platte's basketball team overcome Creek Valley by a score of 55-44.

The Blue Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Garden County defeated Leyton (Dalton, NE), 53-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Leyton Warriors (Dalton, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Creek Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record.
