The El Cerrito Gauchos basketball team scored 86 points and limited the host Richmond Oilers to 30 in the Gauchos league triumph on Thursday.

The Gauchos now have a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Tennyson for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. El Cerrito will confront a Lancers team coming off a 63-48 non-league win over Averroes (Fremont, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-11.
