In Thursday's non-league test, the St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV) basketball squad got by the visiting Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders (Prosperity, WV), by a score of 66-60.

Next, the Irish encounter the Van Bulldogs (Van, WV) in a Freelance test, on Tuesday, January 28. St. Joseph Central will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 0-8 record after their 61-50 non-league loss to Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV).
