The Cardinals (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors come into the Sangamo challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last battle, Athens knocked off Pawnee/Calvary/Lutheran (Pawnee, IL), 37-27, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now own a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Illini Central/Greenview for a Sangamo battle on Monday, January 27. Auburn will meet a squad coming off a 51-21 non-league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The record now stands at 11-11.
