With the victory, Auburn advances its record to 15-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL) to meet the Cardinals in a Sangamo battle on Monday, February 3. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 19-5. Pleasant Plains won 59-22 in their recent non-league battle against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL)
The Spartans now own a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rantoul for a Illini Prairie battle on Monday, February 3. St. Joseph-Ogden will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 40-31 league win over St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-20.
