The West Iron County Wykons basketball squad (Iron River, MI), lost 52-33 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI)

With the victory, Escanaba advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Eskymos travel to Calumet (Calumet, MI) to meet the Copper Kings in a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. The Copper Kings enter the battle with a record of 6-4. Calumet won 48-31 in their recent non-league battle against Ontonagon (Ontonagon, MI)
