Virginia High School Basketball - Staunton nips Broadway
January 23, 2025: Broadway, VA 22815 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Staunton Storm basketball team scored a close 46-45 triumph over the Broadway Gobblers.
The Storm (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison go into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Gap was tipped by Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 46-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gobblers battle the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Broadway will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Trailblazers go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 60-29 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
