South Carolina High School Basketball - Catawba Ridge topples Northwestern

January 24, 2023: Rock Hill, SC 29732

In Tuesday's league outing, the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) basketball squad beat the host Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC), by a count of 62-47.

The Copperheads (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Stallions go into the AAAA Region 3 outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, South Pointe defeated York (York, SC), 79-43, in a league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lancaster for a AAAA Region 3 outing on Friday, January 27. Northwestern will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 63-53 league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 19-2.
