South Carolina High School Basketball - York ripped by Northwestern

February 3, 2023: York, SC 29745

The Northwestern Trojans basketball team scored 55 points and held the host York Cougars to 26 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Hill for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Northwestern will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 72-63 league win over Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 16-5.

The Cougars (1-21) will now prepare for their contest against Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Bruins enter the AAAA Region 3 contest with a 21-3 record. In their last contest, Lancaster was routed by Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 73-70, in a league contest.
