Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA), 70-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Curwensville upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Golden Tide host Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA) to play the Hornets in a Inter County - North bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Juniata Valley won 86-83 in their recent league bout against West Branch (Morrisdale, PA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Glendale will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 79-69 league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA).
