Texas High School Basketball - De Kalb trounces Pewitt
January 24, 2023: De Kalb, TX 75559 The De Kalb Bears (De Kalb, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), 68-34 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bears (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Atlanta (Atlanta, TX). The Rabbits go into the 3A Region II District 14 test with a 19-6 record. In their last test, Atlanta walloped Redwater (Redwater, TX), 53-44, in a league test.
The Brahmas now own a 2-23 record. They play next when they host New Boston for a 3A Region II District 14 test on Friday, January 27. Pewitt will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 62-49 league win over De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-9.
