December 20, 2022: Omaha, TX 75571 The Pewitt Brahmas basketball team (Omaha, TX), was overwhelmed 79-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting De Kalb Bears (De Kalb, TX)
The Bears now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atlanta for a 3A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, January 3. De Kalb will battle a Rabbits team coming off a 60-36 league win over Redwater (Redwater, TX). The Rabbits record now stands at 13-2.
The Brahmas (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Hawkins (Hawkins, TX). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Hawkins trounced Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 51-45, in a league battle.
