Delaware High School Basketball - Laurel thwarts Early College
January 24, 2023: Dover, DE 19901 The Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) basketball knocked off the host Early College Hornets (Dover, DE), 67-48 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Indians go into the Henlopen - Southern test with a 9-4 record.
The Hornets now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Newark for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Early College will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 68-45 non-league loss to St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-7.
