The East Wake Academy Eagles basketball team (Zebulon, NC), was nudged 64-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC)

The Firebirds now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vance County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 25. Falls Lake will battle a Vipers team coming off a 75-57 non-league win over Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Vipers record now stands at 7-11.
