Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN) and the host Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN), saw Park Center's basketball squad wallop Elk River by a tally of 85-37.

With the victory, Park Center improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Osseo (Osseo, MN) to confront the Orioles in a AAAA Section 5 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Orioles come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Osseo won 85-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN)

Next up, the Elks confront the Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 26. Elk River will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 85-64 non-league win over Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN).
