Virginia High School Basketball - Nandua nudges Northampton
January 24, 2023: Onley, VA 23418 Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their basketball team nudge the visiting Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA), 72-71 in a league game.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) in a Eastern Shore game, on Thursday, January 26. Nandua will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Ponies enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 80-46 league loss to Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA).
With the defeat, Northampton moves to 11-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA) to face the Firebirds in a Eastern Shore game on Thursday, January 26.
